It is an Armenian - German joint company. The first group of partners is still the same, and Armenian persons own the majority of the business.
Quality is the Selena priority. As Armenia entered a new period, new quality garments entered the market, more and more people needed a specialist to take care of their garments. That is the reason why four persons decided to start a dry cleaning and laundry activity. As one of them was German, the company works with the best European firms such as Miele, Electrolux, Primus, Bowe, Ilsa, Veit. Methods of cleaning are ecological and as safe as possible both for health and environment.
As a result, the company grew up on two markets: individuals and professionals. On the individual market, the success enabled regularly to open new shops in Yerevan and develop a delivery service in order to be as close as possible to the customer. On the professional market, hotels like Marriott, Ararat Hotel, Ani Plaza, Europe Hotel, Best Western Congress, and Golden Tulip have become regular customers. Those companies with international standards appreciate the Selena quality that meets European standards. Since 2010, Selena has developed also a rental activity for professional customers, as it is now a successful solution in Europe. Hotels, restaurants, etc. don’t need to buy any more their bed and bath linen, table linen, or their uniforms.
Selena regularly participates to European exhibitions. Part of the staff receives special training in Europe, and some European experts come also to our site to improve our skills. The production site in Shinararner Street regularly progresses to answer our development. The main building was finished in 2009 according to the highest standards in this field. Since the end of 2012, a new part enables to settle new washing machines and improve again the process.
But Selena is also a company that feels a social responsibility. There are still too many people in Armenia who can’t afford to buy the clothes they need. From its beginnings, Selena has decided to help them. In all its shops, some posters invite the customers to bring the garments they don’t need any more. The company cleans and repairs them, if necessary, before giving them without any cost to organizations that help people in need.

DRY/WET CLEANING
You love your garments. That is the reason why Selena pays a particular attention to the way we take care of them. We have now a 15 years experience in Armenia. Our customers know it and we are proud of their fidelity. Every day, we clean clothes from the best brands, special garments handmade like wedding dresses, evening dresses, or tuxedo. And if we are proud to be able to clean perfectly those items, we are as strict on quality with casual garments.
Selena isn’t only a specialist in garments cleaning. When it is time to clean your curtains it is important you choose an experienced and properly equipped cleaner. Selena only cleans curtains in our factory processing unit as in our opinion curtain cleaning at home isn’t effective enough. Correct and safe curtain cleaning requires special custom made machinery as well as expert knowledge. If it is more convenient for you, we can take your curtains off the wall and put them back once they are clean.
Selena focuses on quality. All your items are first examined. Then we take off the spots, and we clean the garment. If the result isn’t good enough, we clean it again before ironing and packaging it.
Packaging isn’t a detail for us. So you can ask us to hanger your items or to fold them.
Selena is a specialist in dry cleaning. It is a cleaning process for clothing and textiles using a chemical solvent other than water. It is used to clean delicate fabrics that cannot withstand the rough and tumble of a washing machine and clothes dryer; it can also obviate labor-intensive hand washing.
The solvent used was typically perchloroethylen. But now, as dry cleaning does not remove water-based stains well and the solvent isn’t ecologic, Selena has chosen to develop the wet cleaning process. It is, in essence, cold-water washing and air drying, using a computer-controlled washer and dryer. Wet cleaning is an excellent solution for wool, leather, sensitive and gentle garments.

With Selena, you can choose a partial service. It can be only laundry or only pressing. The price is 70% from the service cost.
Selena offers you the opportunity to “insure” your precious garments. When you bring them, you just need to pay 5% of the “insured” amount. In case of damage, Selena would pay you the price you paid when you bought the garment.
Service is provided within 24 hours.
In case of emergency, you can ask our express service. Your items will be delivered the same day (minimum 5 hours).
Selena always wants to shorten the distance with the customer. Our 15 retail outlets are waiting for you. And, if you prefer to use our delivery service, you just need to call us.
Collection and delivery is free for all orders within Yerevan over 5000 drams. Otherwise, price is 500 drams for one side (1000 drams a return travel).

LAUNDRY
Laundry process consists in washing with water containing detergents. Selena works with European washing machines and German powdered or liquid detergents. It enables us to get the best results without damaging your items. It is also a guarantee against allergic risk.
Laundry process includes agitation, rinsing, drying and pressing (ironing). The washing will often be done at a temperature above room temperature to increase the activities of any chemicals used and the solubility of stains, and high temperatures kill micro-organisms that may be present.
In the laundry activity, Selena can clean and iron all your washable garments.
Our high capacity machines enable us to wash even your pillows, blankets and some mattresses.
You can just bring us homogenous linen and we will clean and iron it. You just pay a price per kilo. It is a very convenient solution when you have no place to dry linen, or when you have no time to iron it.

DYEING, LEATHER AND FUR CLEANING
Dyeing
Sometimes, you may want to change the color of your old trousers for instance. Sometimes also, it is impossible to remove a spot from a garment that you still want to wear. In those situations, Selena has the solution: dyeing. We have a wide range of colors. You will find here the one that you are looking for.

Selena can dye most of the textiles, as long as they include cotton.
Selena has also a real knowhow in cleaning, dyeing, or repairing your leather, suede and fur goods.
Leather and fur care
Leather and fur are living materials. They can last many years as long as you take care of them from time to time.
Our specialists clean and repair your shoes, gloves, bags, jackets, coats, etc. in a special workshop. They use professional machines and products, but the most important is their knowhow. Thanks to them, Selena provides you the best service at the best price.
Sewing
Sometimes, you need to repair damaged clothes, or change size of a garment that has become too small or too large.
Our workshop on Shinararner Street can do most of those works.

CARPETS AND FURNITURE
Your carpet is dirty but you think it is too difficult to move the furniture to take it off? Your favorite sofa has a hole? Your suitcase needs cleaning?
Selena has a special equipment to take care of your soft furniture, rugs, carpets, suitcases, car interiors...
We can work on all the materials: tissue, leather, suede…
Our specialists work in dedicated workshops. So they have the best conditions to clean or repair your mattresses, chairs, sofa, carpets, etc.
We can wash and sew your wool blankets, mattresses and pillows.
As those items may not be convenient for transportation, we offer you 3 possibilities:
- You can bring them to us,
- We can take them at your home, clean them in our workshop, and them deliver them to your home,
- If it is more convenient for you, we can even clean carpets and furniture at your home.
