Jermuk Waterfall is one of the most spectacular natural sights to see in Armenia. It is also called “Mermaids Hairs Waterfall” which has a romantic love story attached to it.

It is located in the Vayots Dzor province’s northeastern region. Jermuk waterfall is 70 meters high and flows into the river Arpa, at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level.

Jermuk waterfall is famous for its healing properties and its high-quality mineral water. Even on the hottest summer day, its water is refreshingly cold.
